Idea Napkin No. 1

1) My name is Thuy-Linh Nguyen and I am a student at the University of Florida studying Psychology and Anthropology. My talents, skills, and experiences include foreign languages, extensive travel, analysis, innovation, and empathy in action. My aspiration is to help change the lives of as many people as I can for the better through education and medical care. Specifically regarding this business, I hope to be able to bring joy and knowledge to thousands of people, meet leaders from around the world, and use some of the profits to donate to medical and education missions programs I hope to start. 

2) What are you offering to customers? I am offering to customers a global, international dining experience where a variety of cuisines, cultures, and perspectives can be encountered and appreciated.

3) Who are you offering it to? I am offering this service to people across the country, but particularly in cities and large towns and especially those that see a lot of immigrant communities, international visitors, and travelers (i.e. coastal cities). The thing all my customers would have in common is a desire for a variety of different cuisines, for new experiences, and for the opportunity to hear from people from around the world and discover more about their cultures and perspectives. 

4) Why do they care? They might believe that it is necessary and important to be well-educated in this increasing globalized world or they might just want to enjoy a sit-down meal eating a certain cuisine.

5) What are your core competencies? What sets Journey apart from everything else is the worldwide diversity of its dishes, its emphasis on culture and education, and its incorporation of global speakers, entertainers, and other events with the traditional dining experience.
